Confirm permission independently
Check whether your intended journey is permitted for your passport, residency status, purpose and vehicle. Do not infer permission from a map, an insurance quotation or reports of commercial traffic. Requirements can differ by traveller and crossing. Obtain authoritative confirmation before travelling towards the border.
Review insurance restrictions
Ask the insurer about territorial and travel-advisory exclusions before relying on any cover. A policy cannot grant border access or remove a travel restriction. If an authorised journey into Türkiye is confirmed, request an individual review of vehicle category, documents, dates and available cover.
