# Before you drive to Türkiye

Separate insurance, customs and journey planning.

01

Check whether your existing motor insurance is valid for your whole journey in Türkiye before arranging additional cover.

02

Confirm vehicle entry requirements with Turkish customs. The driver’s permission to stay and the vehicle’s customs allowance are separate matters.

03

Check your route, toll arrangements and assistance contact details before departure. Border conditions and official requirements can change.
